NORTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION'S COMPREHENSIVE TRANSPORTATION PLAN We need YOUR input! Nash County and its municipalities are working in coordination with the North Carolina Department of Transportation and the Upper Coastal Plain RPO to develop a county wide Comprehensive Transportation Plan. The purpose of this plan is to identify county and municipal transportation problems, now as well as in the future, and identify solutions which provide for a safe and reliable transportation system. In order for this plan to be truly comprehensive it must contain input from local residents. CENSUS ASSISTANCE CENTERS TO OPEN SOON From March 19 - April 19, 2010 the locations listed below will be staffed to assist residents in completing the Census survey and provide forms for residents who did not receive one:

NASH COUNTY RABIES CLINIC There will be Rabies Clinic Thursday, April 1st from 8-4 at the Nash County Animal Shelter. The cost is 5.00 per animal - cats and dogs only.
